IT'S A LANGUAGE ~ THANKSGIVING

How do you know when you are truly thankful for someone or something? You are thankful for someone or something that you ACTIVELY give thanks for.

Did you know that THANKSGIVING IS A LANGUAGE? Thanksgiving is more than a yearly occasion. It goes beyond a feeling. Thanksgiving is an active expression of thanks for the outpour of God’s grace in our lives.

In scripture, Thanksgiving is the Greek word “eucharistia,” which is defined as thankfulness for God’s GRACE; grateful LANGUAGE to God; and ACTIVELY [not passively] giving thanks.

Colossians 2:7 reminds us to abound in Christ with thanksgiving because this is what roots us, builds us up, and strengthens us in our faith. It should be an everyday expression.

Thanksgiving speaks volumes. It is a language.

In EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS!
