For the past nine months, I have been in spiritual warfare training with Apostle Kimberly Daniels in Midnight Cry through Word Bible College. During these months, I have been discipled through the power of intercession and strategic warfare prayer during the midnight hour. This is absolutely separate from the UP at Midnight watch that I do on alternating Fridays, which God gave to me to begin years ago. There is no physical association between Midnight Cry and UP at Midnight (Midnight Watch).
The midnight hour is typically the hour that man sleeps and it is said that there is a increase in demonic activity in the earth realm. Matthew 13:25 states that "But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way." As a part of Midnight Cry, we invited the power of God into the earth realm and targeted demonic activity. We bound demons and loosed angels. The Lord of hosts and the hosts of heaven were at war on our behalf. We forbid the works of darkness by releasing the light of God into our atmospheres and into the earth. It was on-the-job strategic warfare training. I was equipped with strategies in engaging in the Word and resisting the enemy. I was trained in the language necessary to target specific areas that release the power of God in my life and around me and that deliver effective, fervent prayer that avails much.
So as I began to learn these strategies and the language to target specific areas, things begin to stir up in heavenly places. If you would have asked me then, I would not have told you the warfare I would've been up against, although I expected some. The warfare that I have endured the past few months alone has caused me to regain territories that the enemy tried to appropriate [take for his own use without legal right or authority]. The stirring up of things that our midnight cries caused and the experiences that I've had throughout the duration of this training have trained my hands to war and my fingers to fight. God has been discipling me through prayer. The night before the conference, we created a 24 hour prayer chain from midnight to midnight that could not be broken. We worshipped and praised our God Jehovah, we made prophetic declarations, and we shifted things in the heavenlies. I am still seeing the effects of those prayers and will continue to for years to come.
The culmination of this intercession training was an invitation and opportunity to serve alongside other Midnight Cry students as a part of the conference prayer team in Orlando, Florida at the Charisma Conference 2018 on June 23-24. I also had the honor of connecting with other legends in the faith, shaking the hand of the of the Founder of the Charisma publishing company and prophesying to him that he would one day publish my books, worshiping with the Binions and personally meeting David Binion, hearing Real Talk Kim speak the first time and personally meeting her, and then the Midnight Cry team was later invited into State Representative/Apostle Kim's personal space (her hotel suite).
It has truly been an experience and it shows that effectual, fervent prayer will move you into places you will never be able to move yourself into outside of God, spiritually and naturally.
