February Fridays... Personal Waiting & Listening Moments

In four days, we are embarking on a journey to hear God's voice more clearly through dedicated times in His presence. Over the course of one month, we are stretching ourselves by committing to intentional waiting and listening moments throughout February on Friday midnights - 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th. You can choose to commit to one, two, three, or all four of these Friday midnights. This is your own personal devotion to the Lord.

To hold yourself and each other accountable, you are encouraged to journal what you hear or feel the Lord speaking and any and all inspirations and revelations that are made known to you, and you will have certain times to share these inspirations and revelations.

**On Friday the 7th at midnight, we will open up with a brief united prayer, and on Friday the 28th at midnight, we will close out with a brief united prayer. More details concerning these prayer times will be emailed before the dates.***

If you accepted this commitment via the Facebook flyer/post, simply wait for future instructions in upcoming emails. If you have not accepted this commitment and are interested in being included in the February Waiting & Listening Challenge, your response to this email is necessary - Future emails will only go out to those who have accepted via the online Facebook flyer that was posted or by responding to this email.

Who is this for?

This is for anyone who is serious about hearing God more clearly for direction in their own life and the world around them.

Why midnight?

I love that God opens the ears of men during the night while in a state of rest; however, waiting and listening is a discipline that can and should be included consistently during your prayer times.

Job 33:14-16 (KJV) "14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction."

What can I expect?

As you approach these waiting and listening times wholeheartedly and pure, you can expect to learn the discipline to hear God's voice; you can expect spiritual deposits from God; and you can expect the Lord to speak to you in His timing.

Get your favorite Bible(s) and journal(s) ready. Mark your calendar. Let's get ready to WAIT & LISTEN to hear God's voice.
